Theme I: Wayfinding

For any long-time subscribers, we apologize for the delay.

With the Fall semester here, now is as good a time as ever for the valiant return of Under the Arch. Now under some new management, Under the Arch is the official narrative journalism/personal narrative blog of the Washington Square News.

As such, the first theme of the new semester is “Wayfinding,” whether it’s metaphorically finding oneself in the urban maze of New York, or literally getting lost in said maze; both of which are necessary for anyone truly wanting to be a part of the city. Pieces will be published gradually throughout the week, so keep on the lookout, and here’s to the new semester.

Regards,
